Cllr Jordan Meade

Jordan Meade is standing as a candidate in the Gravesham Borough Council elections on 2nd May 2019.

He is currently a Gravesham Borough Councillor for the Singlewell ward and Young Conservatives President.                                                                

Jordan was first elected to Gravesham Borough Council in 2015 at the age of 19, making him the youngest councillor in Gravesham’s history and the youngest local authority Cabinet Member in the United Kingdom. 

He was born in Gravesend and is passionate about the town’s river heritage, protecting our open spaces and creating opportunities for young people.  

Professionally, Jordan works as a Senior Advisor to a Crossbench Member of the House of Lords and is a Partner at SupplyFinder specialising in stakeholder development and cooperate communications. Jordan is a Governor of Thamesview Secondary School, the Vice Chairman of Gravesend Regatta,  President of Gravesham Tour Guides Association and a Trustee of the Guildhall Museum in Rochester. Jordan is proud to have been the Coordinator for Vote Leave during the 2016 referendum on Europe. 

In his spare time, Jordan enjoys reading philosophy and walking, mostly in the villages of Meopham, Cobham and Luddesdown.
