Cllr. Jordan Meade

Cllr. Jordan Meade is member for Woodlands at Gravesham Borough Council, Leader of The Conservative Group at Council and Young Conservatives President.                                                                

Jordan was first elected to Gravesham Borough Council in Singlewell in 2015 at the age of 19, making him the youngest councillor in Gravesham’s history and the youngest local authority Cabinet Member in the United Kingdom. 

He was born in Gravesend and is passionate about the town’s river heritage, protecting our open spaces and creating opportunities for young people.  

Professionally, Jordan works as a Senior Advisor to a Crossbench Member of the House of Lords and is a Partner at SupplyFinder specialising in stakeholder development and cooperate communications. Jordan is a Governor of Thamesview Secondary School, the Vice Chairman of Gravesend Regatta,  President of Gravesham Tour Guides Association and a Trustee of the Guildhall Museum in Rochester. Jordan is proud to have been the Coordinator for Vote Leave during the 2016 referendum on Europe. 

In his spare time, Jordan enjoys reading philosophy and walking, mostly in the villages of Meopham, Cobham and Luddesdown.

Thank you to the Armed Forces Community in Gravesham

With pride in veterans, cadets and those currently serving, we attended Armed Forces Day at the Community Square in Gravesend. 

This event is an important occasion, helping us all keep front of mind that our service personnel are working to keep us safe.

He was born October 1961 in Gravesend, and at the age of 3 was diagnosed Deaf at the Nuffield Centre, London.

Cllr. Leslie Hills

Leslie Hills is member for Chalk Ward in Gravesham Borough Council.                                                     

Leslie has lived in Chalk since 1982 and has been privileged to serve on GBC as Councillor since 2007 and as leader of the Conservative Group since August 2018.
