We have a plan to unlock our town's full potential and end the waste and neglect.
Demand change by voting for your THREE highly dedicated, LOCAL CONSERVATIVE candidates & together for TOWN WARD we will:
- Work closely with the police and other authorities to help reduce anti-social behaviour in Town Ward.
- Initiate community litter picking and impose tough penalties on those who fly-tip in our community.
- Dedicate the full resources of the Council to making our town a cleaner place to work and live.
- Work with our local businesses and independent traders to reverse the decades of decline.
- Bring forward new measures to tackle gang violence, street drinking and drug use in our ward.
- Be highly dedicated and attentive local councillors by offering monthly surgeries and forums.
- We are standing on a pledge to restore the Prom and to use our River Thames frontage as a catalyst for growth & renewal.
LABOUR HAVE BEEN IN CONTROL OF OUR COUNCIL for the past 4 years and have represented the area of our ward for decades.
Under Labour’s watch millions have been wasted in paying consultants and lawyers for external advice. Money which we believe could have been better spent investing in services for our community.
Green space has been stolen to cram in unnecessary development and our town centre carparks have been given away for unwanted flats. Despite pleas from local residents, they demolished the historic 160 year old water tower of Milton Barracks to make way more flats and even sold off our historic town pier.
On THURSDAY 4TH MAY you have the power to take our town in a new direction. Your local, highly dedicated Conservative team stands ready to put life back into our town and build a community that we can all be proud of. Use your three votes to elect community champions who care about your priorities and who will work tirelessly for our community in Gravesham.
Labour are on a mission to cram in as many homes as possible with no regard for the impact that this has on our schools, roads, or doctors’ surgeries. Led by local residents, we will support small-scale, sympathetically designed developments to meet our own local need. We will give residents greater input into the planning process so that we can make sure that development delivers for our community.
We will champion our parks and do everything we can to stop Labour’s destruction of our open spaces. We will always vigorously defend our community from inappropriate development.
