Our pledges for Coldharbour

Cleaner Streets

We know how important it is to people that we have clean streets so we will lobby for more public waste bins and regular street cleansing, along with facilitating regular community litter picks in the local area.

Elderly Champion

We will continue to champion the elderly, supporting their needs and aspirations for better services and adequate facilities, so that they can enjoy good opportunities for a healthy life.

Accessible Shopping

We will lobby via Gravesham Access Group to achieve the optimum amount of disabled bays in Perry Street and in the town centre, to enable more people to park safely and conveniently when they have a blue badge.

Transport and Parking

We pledge to hold Arriva to account via the Joint Transportation Board on accessibility and punctuality of its bus. We will be lobbying for smarter and smaller buses, which are more convenient for many people. We will lobby and champion safer streets and will always push your priorities forward if there are severe problems with parking.

Community Safety

We pledge to work with the Police and Crime Commissioner to lobby for more police to be available on the beat within Gravesham. We believe that crime rates can be averted and lowered if we have more visible police officers in our communities.
