Helen Ashenden is a Councillor for Higham & Shorne Ward at Gravesham Borough Council.
She currently serves as Deputy Leader of the Conservative Group and as Deputy Chair for Membership and Fundraising on Gravesham Conservative Association.
Helen was born in West London, but has lived in Gravesend since the age of nine, and therefore knows the area and its needs well.
Now retired, Helen spent the majority of her working life employed in accounts for small businesses, thereby gaining valuable insight into local issues.
In her spare time, Helen likes card making and cooking. She is a member of the WI. Helen is also a supporter of WASPI (Women Against State Pension Inequality)
