About Jordan
Jordan is a passionate and experienced local councillor who has served the borough since 2015. He was born and bred in Gravesend and is passionate about the town’s river heritage, protecting our marshlands, open spaces and parks, and in creating opportunities for young people.
Throughout his time as a local Councillor Jordan has worked hard to be a voice for local residents. He has fought the Council successfully in stopping overdevelopment and constantly challenges the Labour Council’s wasteful spending on vanity projects over the delivery of quality services.
He currently serves as the Leader of the Conservative Group on Gravesham Borough Council and as County Councillor for Gravesend East on Kent County Council. Here he is also a Deputy Cabinet Member and the Lead Member for Ukraine Co-operation.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Freeman of the City of London. Jordan is currently a self-employed strategist and advisor engaged with supporting the Offices of several Members of the House of Lords.
In his spare time, Jordan enjoys taking long walks with his Labrador, mostly along the marshlands of Higham and Shorne on the Saxon Shore Way.
