Helen Ashenden

Helen Ashenden is a prospective candidate for Higham ward in the 2019 Gravesham Borough Council elections.                                                                                                                                                                              
                                                                                                                                            
She is is looking forward to standing for election and is passionate about protecting green spaces for future generations.

Helen was born in West London, but has lived in Gravesend since the age of nine, and therefore knows the area and its needs well.

Now retired, Helen spent the majority of her working life employed in accounts for small businesses, thereby gaining valuable insight into local issues.

In her spare time, Helen likes card making and cooking. She is a member of the WI. Helen is also a supporter of WASPI (Women Against State Pension Inequality)
