Valley Drive Gravesend

Local KCC Councillor Diane Marsh support to local campaigners has led to a reduction in the speed limit along Valley Drive.

Local residents from Valley Drive, Read Way, Dobson Road and Stacey Close have been campaigning for the 40MPH speed limit to be reduced to 30MPH.

The campaign was boosted when Diane Marsh presented the residents petition to Highways Chiefs at KCC and offered to fund the cost of reducing the speed limit from her members grant.

Diane Marsh said “It’s clear that by reducing the speed limit by 25 percent made sense and will hopefully make the road safer for drivers and local residents”.
